Complete the Application for Admission in its entirety.

Read the ENTIRE “Student Acknowledgment of Policies”, “Release of Liability” and “Disciplined Self-Paced Learning” at the bottom of this webpage before opening form and submitting application

  1. Open the online form below and fill out completely

  2. E-Sign the Student Acknowledgement of Policies

  3. E-Sign the Release of Liability

  4. E-Sign the Disciplined Self Paced Learning

  5. E-Sign the Academic Withdrawal Policy

  6. Email student copies of transcripts, if available to; rosemanj@outlook.com

  7. Complete the written statement of your Student Goals and EMAIL to the Registrar @ registrar@satcs.org

  8. Request official transcripts from each college, university, vocational or technical school you have attended to be sent to:

  9. Pay the $120 application fee (this enrollment fee is reimbursed to students via the first 3 months tuition)

Note: Students who wish to transfer previous college or seminary work to St. Andrew’s should include copies of student transcripts, if available, with their applications. Provisional acceptance of such transfer credit will be granted pending the receipt of official transcripts by St. Andrew’s.

Note: Applicants who are concurrently applying to become a Postulant for ordination in The Orthodox Anglican Church or one of the member churches of the Orthodox Anglican Communion, should also contact the Vocations Director. As official recognition of Postulant status is time-intensive, Applicants are permitted to begin studies at St. Andrew’s before such official recognition is extended

Student Acknowledgement of Policies

  1. I understand that St. Andrew’s Theological College reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant.

  2. I understand that the academic programs offered by St. Andrew’s are primarily designed to train clergy for The Orthodox Anglican Church and the Orthodox Anglican Communion.

  3. I have read and I understand the position of St. Andrew’s Theological College regarding governmental educational accreditation, and my application is hereby made in full knowledge of St. Andrew’s religious exemption from state licensure under NC GS 115D-88(1).

  4. I have read the catalogue and/or the website of St. Andrew’s Theological College and I understand the contents thereof.

  5. I understand that certificates, diplomas, degrees, or transcripts will not be issued to students who have not completed payment of their tuition or fees.

  6. I understand that application fees, registration fees, graduation fees, transcript fees, retreat fees, workshop fees, seminar fees, subscription payments, and tuition payments are nonrefundable.

  7. I understand that I must contact St. Andrew’s Theological College at a minimum of once every six months, by letter, e-mail, or fax, regarding the progress of my studies. I understand that if I fail to maintain this contact regarding my student status, I may be administratively dismissed from St. Andrew’s, at its discretion, regardless of fees and/or tuition paid by me or owed by me to St. Andrew’s.

  8. Having read the St. Andrew’s Theological College Academic Honour Code, should I be accepted into St. Andrew’s, I understand and accept my responsibility as a member of the St. Andrew’s Community to uphold the Honour Code at all times.

  9. I understand that St. Andrew’s Theological College may amend these Policies, at the discretion of its administration, with or without notice to me, and that I must abide by any amendments thereof during my tenure as a student.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby authorize Saint Andrew's Theological College and Seminary to verify the accuracy of the information that I have provided in this application. I authorize my current and previous employers, church and pastoral references, and the educational institution(s) listed on this application to provide Saint Andrew's Theological College and Seminary information regarding my character, educational, moral, and academic fitness for admission. I waive any right to legal claims against any disclosing person, employer, religious, governmental or educational institution and I hold Saint Andrew's Theological College and Seminary harmless for seeking and using this information to determine my eligibility for admission. I also waive any right I may have to review confidential material or information received by Saint Andrew's Theological College and Seminary from a person, employer, or religious, governmental or educational institution. I understand and agree that Saint Andrew's Theological College and Seminary reserves the right to refuse my admission and that my completion of this application neither guarantees my admission to the institution nor ordination in The Orthodox Anglican Church or the Orthodox Anglican Communion. I understand and agree that my admission fee is nonrefundable.

With full knowledge of my rights to inspect and review my educational records in accordance with State and Federal law, especially Section 438 of the General Education Provisions Act, Title IV of Public Law 93- 247 as Amended, I do hereby waive, relinquish and disclaim all my rights to inspect and review this Statement of Qualifications. I authorize and extend this waiver to any disclosing person, employer, religious, governmental or educational institution and the recipients, Saint Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary, and The Orthodox Anglican Church. Further, I direct that this Release may be used for the purpose for which it is specifically intended.

SATCS Disciplined Self Paced Learning (DSPL)

Saint Andrews Theological College and Seminary (SATCS) is dedicated to a rewarding and productive on-line learning experience. All courses are self-paced to help the professional student better manage life and learning. DSPL is self-paced with a disciplined timeline incorporated into the program to aid you in completing the course work in a more timely and affordable manner. All courses must be completed in a 4-month timeline from the day of enrollment. Your progress in your studies will be monitored by SATCS registrar and Dean of Students, Fr. Roseman. The faculty and administration are here to help in any way to keep students on track to complete the course work within the program policy period. Below is more detailed information:

Disciplined Self-Paced Learning

4-month course completion starting the day of Course enrollment

2-month academic probation if not completed in 4 months- Probationary disciplines are established with the student to help them establish their own study disciplines. These probationary measures will remain in force thru the following enrolled course.

3-month academic suspension if not completed during probationary period.

$250.00 re-enrollment fee after suspension period

$39.00 monthly subscription still applies after re-enrollment

SATCS Student Withdrawal Police

SATCS understands that a student’s withdrawal from classes is sometimes unavoidable.  The following policy for academic withdrawal is equitable for all parties and is effective 01/01/2024.

 

Students in Good Standing:

Written thirty day notice of withdrawal is required or as soon as possible in cases of unexpected urgency. Students may return to enrolled status with 6 months after date of withdrawal and be re-enrolled in the exited course. After 6 months of date of withdrawal re-application to SATCS is required with applicable fees.

 

Students in Academic Probation Status:

Written thirty day notice of withdrawal is required or as soon as possible in cases of unexpected urgency. Students may re-apply after 6 months and will be subject to a $250.00 re-enrollment fee. Exceptions may be considered on a case to case basis if applicable.
