Reverend Fr. Jarrod Dillon 

Instructor of Christian Education / Inductive Bible Study 

Jarrod Dillon holds a Bachelor of Arts (2010) in Philosophy and a Master of Arts (2017) in Theology both from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. The topic of his masters thesis was on the natural knowledge of God in the work of Karl Barth. Jarrod’s academic interests are in medieval theology and existential philosophy. Theologically, his biggest influences are Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, and Martin Luther. Professionally Jarrod works as a full time hospice chaplain.

 Jarrod was ordained to the Diaconate in 2021 and the Priesthood in 2022. Before entering Anglicanism, Jarrod worked for two decades doing lay pastoral ministry for the Roman Catholic Church. Most recently (2010-2020), he was the Director of Religious Education in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He is married to Laura (2011) and is the proud father to Oliver (2017).
