- Is Saint Andrew's accredited? On June 21 AD 2008, the Board of Trustees of St. Andrew's adopted a resolution to seek accreditation of its academic programs with the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Such resolution is no guarantee expressed or implied that St. Andrew's will be granted recognition by the accrediting agency. Prospective students, seeking to earn transfer credit only, are strongly advised to review the transfer standards of their respective institutions and to consult with their academic advisors prior to enrolling at the Seminary.
- Do I have to be Anglican or Episcopalian in order to study at Saint Andrew's? No.
- Is Saint Andrew's affiliated with the Episcopal Church USA? No. Saint Andrew's is not affiliated with the Episcopal Church USA. Saint Andrew's is the theological college and Seminary of The Orthodox Anglican Church, an independent, traditional, Anglican jurisdiction with valid Apostolic Succession; it does not share certain contemporary theological views of the Episcopal Church USA. - Does Saint Andrew's accept transfer credits from other Bible colleges and seminaries? Yes, Saint Andrew's accepts transfer credits from approved institutions.
- What is an approved institution? An approved institution is either accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or an unaccredited institution recognized by Saint Andrew's as providing quality Christian education or theological training. Contact Saint Andrew's directly to determine if the institution(s) that you have attended is/are approved.
- How many transfer credits will Saint Andrew's accept? Each student's academic portfolio is evaluated individually.
- Do I have to attend spiritual retreats and seminars in order to complete my degree? Only Postulants for Holy Orders, seeking ordination in The Orthodox Anglican Communion, are required to attend spiritual retreats and seminars, but all students are welcomed to attend these retreats and seminars.
- When can I begin my studies at Saint Andrew's? As soon as the official application for admission, admission fee, and official transcripts are received by the Seminary, the Administrative Office will verify the student's eligibility for admission. Upon approval and tuition payment advise, students can begin their studies immediately via distance education.
- How are distance education courses delivered? Currently, distance education courses and related materials are delivered to students on Cds via mail.
- How do I deliver my work to my instructor? Work may be delivered via mail.
- Is my instructor available if I need help? Yes. Instructors may be contacted via telephone or via e-mail.
